KIZOMBA

Magalie & Issa (DR Congo / Fribourg)

Monday 7 – Friday 11 July 2014 18h45 – 20h00, all levels

A sensual rendez-vous!

Born in Angola in the 80s, Kizomba is a slow sensual couple dance also called “African Tango”. Portuguese colonisation and the presence of Cuban people in the country due to the civil war, brought, and brought back, various dance and music styles (some were originally exported from Africa towards the West through slavery), which in turn created Kizomba, among others.

Through experiencing various styles along their dance paths (Salsa, Hip hop, Ragga/dancehall, Afro Cuban dances…), Magalie and Issa have developed a style filled with sensuality… not to be missed!

Discover a new aspect of African dance! Register alone or as a couple…

Issa will host the Afro & Latin Pop along with Reinier and Merlin!
